I don't remember if I bought this pic at a swap meet or a flea market. After scanning it, I tried to touch up some of the scratches, and cropped in different areas so that the gas pump prices, the name of the store etc show up.  Every since I can remember, my Mother always told me I was a "day dreamer", guess she was right, because I look at old pics like this and relive some of  the better times of my past.

The old picture below reminds me of my maternal grandfather, and the old store he use to have back in the early 60's, of course his gas pumps wasn't as old as the ones in this pic.  Back then, getting a coca-cola was a treat (not an everyday thing for us); he had an old time coke box where you reached down and got the glass bottles out of really cold water. There was no drinks in plastic bottles; Grapette was my very favorite, but usually chose a Mr. Cola, (they were big and lasted longer), and sometimes chose a Triple X Root Beer, they were really good too. Those were the days that I wish I could go back in time and and just stay there forever.   This old pic really brought back some wonderful times and wonderful memories.
