BAKED APPLES

4 medium apples
2 T. margarine
1 t. nutmeg
4 t. brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
2 t. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 360 degrees. Wash & core apples. Cut about 1/2 inch peeling from stem end of apples. Place in baking dish, stem end down. Add enough water to cover bottom of the baking dish.
Combine margarine, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, & vanilla.
Divide mixture equally into the apples.


Bake until apples are tender.
